My journey in the motor trade began long before The Jimny Collective.
Having grown up around my dad’s business, Steve Rowlands Car Sales, established in 1989, cars have always been a big part of my life.
For over a decade, iv’e worked within the business, gaining experience in sourcing, preparing and selling vehicles, whilst learning the importance of quality, attention to detail and building relationships with customers.
Although iv’e always enjoyed the motor trade, I wanted to create something a little different. Something that combined my experience with my love for travel and adventure.
The idea came whilst travelling abroad and seeing Jimnys in places they just seemed to belong. After discovering they were no longer available in the UK market, I saw an opportunity to bring something a little different back to South Wales.
That’s how The Jimny Collective was born.
The Jimny Collective is intentionally small, it’s more than just cars. It’s a passion project built around a simple philosophy - quality over quantity.
Each Jimny is carefully sourced and tastefully styled, with an emphasis on individuality, character and attention to detail.
It’s about creating a community of like-minded people who share appreciation for these distinctive little vehicles, exploring new places and making the most of the beautiful country we’re lucky enough to call home.
Whether it’s a coastal escape, a drive through the Welsh valleys or simply heading out for a coffee, I believe the journey should be just as enjoyable as the destination.
The Jimny Collective brings together my experience in the motor trade with something I’m genuinely passionate about.
